FINISHES
Sink basins are hand-crafted, kiln fired clay products. Each of our hand-crafted products is unique, which adds to the inherent charm and value of your investment. Some variation in color as well as finish should be expected, as no two products will be exactly the same.

Our sink basins are hand painted with special glazes and then finished with glossy or matte finishes. These glazes are fired on at high temperatures, thus creating a durable finish which cannot be removed with normal use and proper care, with the exception of real metallic and opalescent finishes.

On bright white background, the sink is first fired with an opaque white glaze, and then special overglazes are applied and fired on at lower temperatures. Since this technique varies from that used on other backgrounds, expect painted areas to be more surface-oriented and less shiny.

Our bar (S), vegetable (T), and kitchen (U) sinks differ from the bathroom lavatories. They are hand-crafted with a stoneware base and glaze. The finish is very durable, yet irregularities and crazing are inherent to its character.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Clean basin after installation and before first use. Use a mild non-abrasive soap and soft cloth. Mild abrasives such as Soft Scrub are not acceptable. Continued use of chemical or abrasive cleansers or abrasive pads will eventually remove the finish. Keep your sinks clean and dry to preserve their beauty.
